The Prayer/Meditation Labyrinth

The Labyrinth is located at the rear of the church property behind the garage. All are welcome!

Walking a labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. Labyrinths are used for all types of meditation and prayer.

Lorna Davis proposed the idea to the Leadership Team in 2008. Colin Sinclair, on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout, built it with help from volunteers in 2009. It truly is a work of art! 363 cubic feet of rock were used for the base layer and 1,050 bricks for the form. It took 122 hours of labor to create.
